Experience

Natalie joined the Housing Department and works primarily from the London Office. She specialises in landlord and tenant disputes including issues of disrepair, possession proceedings and evictions. Natalie also represents tenants in cases concerning Anti-Social Behaviour Injunctions.

Compassionate, honest, motivated, positive and sociable.

What do you enjoy most about your work?

Every day is different. Housing Law can be chaotic and there’s a lot of urgent work and so I never really know how my day is going to pan out. I like to have to think on my feet.

If you were not a lawyer, how would you earn a living?

I’d like to set up a business distilling my own gin.

What is your highest career achievement?

Preventing the eviction of a vulnerable tenant from Local Authority housing and assisting them to secure a transfer to accommodation which better supported their mental health needs.

Of what, in your life, are you most proud?

Completing the Great North run without having trained ( I wouldn’t advise that anyone does the same!)

How would you spend your perfect day?

At a music festival somewhere sunny!

How do you relax?

Mixing cocktails, shopping for records and watching sports.

What is the single most important thing that you want to do before you die?

See Manchester City win a Champions League Final.
